One more reason to love the new anything goes NIL landscape: athletes who have to care as much about their makeups as their layups.

I find it depressing! And also sexist as all get out

Yeah, I like the idea players can get paid for all their hard work but seems like NIL is a lot more about how players look and how much social media they do to get followers.  So players now have to be students, athletes, business women to deal with NIL stuff, and cultivate social media by being "feminine" and interesting to follow.  College sports is becoming pro sports but with young athletes who already have too much on their plate as it is.
