I've read a number of articles today.  Regents meeting was much ado about nothing.  They basically admitted UCLA has the right to make its own decisions under the current rules.  There was talk about voting in September to make UC schools in the future get approval from the Regents before making a change in conference.   Ironically the only school that might hurt is Cal.
