I don’t know if you go chalk talks stop and pop but for years it’s been hard to schedule some schools. They say no.
As the 'voice of unreason', one advantage of playing a light schedule goes to your point- playing time for multiple players; especially Betts. Yes, I would have liked to have seen a stronger schedule, but there is one team among the 5 that I do like us going up against- Portland (20-11/8-7 in the WCC) that has 6'6 Lucy Cochrane who led the nation in average blocked shots (3.9/game) and will now have 6'7 Maddi Condran, who redshirted her freshman season. Though they lost, they played a reasonably competitive game against us last season on the road.
Yes, been to many chalk talks and love them.
Hoping I'll still be here to watch that potentially epic game on 11/20 at Maples.
