Previously Ukraine seemed to be ok with letting Russian soldiers escape and picking them off as they fled.
With the threat of the dam being blown, maybe it would be worth the risk of trying to pin them in place, cutting off their retreat. Would Russia still blow the dam if their soldiers were in the flood plain? (I don’t know the geography well enough to know if that is possible)
