End the slo mesh!!! The only thing good about Filkins' arm in a sling is that it may force Shaw to put it to bed. Smith had the quickness to take off when keeping the ball, and Filkins arguably (I don't think so) has quick enuf feet to emerge from the mesh. Neither of the 3rd and 4th backs have the necessary quickness. McKee is a terrible fit for the slo mesh. He's has neither quick feet, nor fast get away. His one positive is that he can see over the various linemen. It's crazy unfair to make him play this nutty system.
Kudos to the defense. The frosh are actually beginning to look pretty good. I've wondered why Cooper didn't play before today. He was READY to play. Whole D, except Kelly on those last two passes, played great. brobdingnagian kudos to Karty, of course.
Question: Was Kennelly injured earlier in the season. I thought I saw a dnp while not on injured list. His hair was on fire. Good for him.
