I found this article to be quite interesting; several quotes from Tara about our issues getting non-conference games scheduled. A few coaches (including Tara) wanted the Pac12 to expand the number of conference games and other coaches were against due to wanting to scheduler easier games to boost their record prior to Pac12 play. I can guess which schools opt for that option.

Also, the SC series will continue after this season. Looks like we will go to SC next season. They will return the following year and play UCLA the same week as Stanford to make the cross country trek worthwhile.
