I was watching a Tennessee game. During a fast break, a player had the ball on a fast break for a layup, but also had an option to pass out for an unguarded 3-point shooter on the baseline.
If that were Stanford's Hannah Jump on the wing, I think money ball would say to pass it out to the 3-point shooter. At 1.896 points per 3pt attempt, it is better than almost any layup percentage (and, better than Belibi's dunk attempts).
