Charlie Creme has FGCU as a 9 seed in his current Bracketology which is more or less the equivalent of playing Oregon (an 8 seed). FGCU is not a team to be taken lightly. Should be a good challenge for the Cardinal.

Agreed.

In some ways, it is harder than playing Oregon, since their style is so unorthodox.  They may make it impossible for us to take full advantage of our bevy of bigs--since everyone we put on the floor has to be able to defend a small guard on the three point line without letting them get behind us.  Basically, we have to design an entirely new defense for them.  But they were clearly the draw--the reason for going.  Tara has played them 3 times so she won't have to reinvent the wheel entirely--just teach the new wheel to our team that has never seen anything like it before.
