If this occurred during the sideline huddle, then it’s on the player(s). If this occurred FROM the sidelines during play, that’s on the coaches.
I seem to recall a camera shot of Tara yelling AFTER the TO was called. No way to tell what that was about.
Easy to say this all on a Monday. But part of good preparation is not having to trust that everything is heard clearly from 30-50 feet away in the heat of battle in a packed home arena.
Happened post-huddle, as they were walking away to take their places. Not ideal.
In other words, Tara and Kate forgot to mention and/or stress that no TOs were left IN THE HUDDLE That's poor coaching!
