So far I've only been able to catch part of the SCAR game, but between what I saw, what Tara has said, and our Cardboarders' reports on our other games, I feel pretty confident Lepolo has put to rest any lingering doubts we should have had about losing Van Gytenbeek's services. Wish her the best, though the Stanford to Baylor undergraduate transfer is not one I'd wish on my worst enemy...

The one thing Jana showed last year that we miss is her 3pt shooting. At least until someone steps up besides Jump.

Prechtel (6/15), Demetre (7/17), and Nivar (5/11) are all shooting over 40% and Bosgana is at 35% (6/17), and Brink is at 36% (4/11). Number of attempts are low so far for them (minimum 11 attempts) compared with Jump (40 attempts), but we do not lack for the ability to shoot the three.

It may end up being true but using stats from blowouts against lesser competition may not be representative. 

How were our shots from outside in our last game?  (I haven't looked so they may support your stance... but from memory,  didn't seem like we had much)  Admittedly,  it's on the other end of the spectrum opponent wise but i think we can both agree that those are the games we're most worried about. 

Perhaps another argument would be  that we just need those players to pull the trigger.

Here's hoping a few of our players do indeed step up in our tough games (it'll make the games less nail-biting. =))
