Prechtel had a good game, Lepolo had 3 fouls and was beaten a couple of times--so her defense has a ways to go, but she also had 8 assists and continues to look like a starting point guard. Jump was off tonight.
For those of you with eyes on the game, any clues as to our lackluster offense? Defense was solid.
I watched the game. We just didn't seem to have a lot of pep in our step. Jump, Jones, and Brink all had pretty mediocre games. Brink missed several close shots she normally makes and Jones/Jump didn't have efficient shooting games. Prechtel was the bright spot. I thought when we pressed early on and turned them over, it sped up our transition offensive and we got easy buckets or open looks. We had zero fast break points in the 2nd half when the game became more of a slog. It was pretty uninspiring. We looked tired after 3 games in 3 days.
