Fixed it for you.  We jumped out to a large lead, won easily and almost doubled our opponent's score.  They can't all be offensive gems.

Sometimes I think we specialize in finding the cloud inside every silver lining.

I don't think we are being too nitpicky. We all want a national title and given our expectations and the level of the team, it comes down to small, but potentially significant things, especially when playing in a tight game against a high quality opponent.

Example: the loss to South Carolina last week. If someone called a timeout without any left in these last three games in Hawaii, it wouldn't have mattered. It did matter last Sunday, so just excusing away the flaws even in a blowout victory is not the right way to do it as habits have a way to show up in the worst way in a critical situation.
