Hard to judge who looks more pathetic and weak, the Pac-12 or the UC Regents. To some degree, the Pac-12 didn't have a whole lot of control over the USC and UCLA situation. But the UC Regents lost total control of UCLA and allowed a member school to clown it.  The "UCLA may have to pay Cal $2M-$5M annually," is so pathetic and feeble, it's just embarrassing for the regents and Cal, and by extension, the Pac-12.

One thing I have to say about the athletes at USCLA having to engage in all this travel. Among the primary values of going away to college is the ON CAMPUS experience.  If USCLA athletes have to spend multiple weeks on the road, it greatly takes away from why you go to college in the first place.
I'm interested to see how schools recruiting against USCLA do when time to experience on campus life is considered a priority for a recruit.
