Her best game of the season?Wrong. Cam only played 26 minutes. I know she had a 33 efficiency score today, but if there's one thing I've learned from this board, our team is going to lose every tough game where Cam doesn't play more than 30 minutes. ;)
She only played 24 minutes against South Carolina, so she needs to play more than 25 minutes :)
When she came back in at the end of the third (and stayed to the end), we outscored Tennessee 33-18.
So, speculation on my part, but I believe that if she had been in the game as much as Jump or Jones this game never would have been in doubt, we would probably not have trailed in the 2nd half, and we would likely have won by 20ish points. With her in the game for significantly more minutes, we would probably have beaten South Carolina. And in the NCAAs last spring, if Brink had not been in foul trouble we would likely have beaten UConn.
I'm not saying that 25 minutes is insufficient to win a lot of games, nor am I saying we can't win using other players to fill in. But a 35 minute Brink would make all our games easier and might be decisive against the top competition. At a minimum, it would have helped me to preserve my nails during the 3rd quarter by reducing my anxiety.
