At the chalk talk, coach Steading answered a question about refereeing by saying that the refs would have a choice between calling it tight early to try to stop the highly physical play, or "letting them play" and only trying to make sure no one gets hurt. She said that personally she prefers the latter (and did in her playing days too). She also said that today's crew is a good one.
