What an amazing analysis. I came home last night after the game to find my husband watching it, had missed it because of an unbreakable conflict He didn't know the outcome so I didn't tell him, but I watched the 2nd half with him. And it looked to me, as it had at the game, that the ref approach was way beyond "let them play." Your detail here is great. There was so much pushing, shoving, and grabbing that was ignored. Cam obviously thought so as well when a foul was called at last and she turned her back and slammed the ball on the floor. Looked to me as if she was thinking and expressing, "it's about time."
