I think Lexie has a chance to stick, largely because of her defense. The Fever have just started using her as their defensive stopper against the top players in the world (e.g. Brianna Stewart, Rhyne Howard) and she's been doing pretty well so far. On a team that is defensively putrid, she's actually pretty valuable even though she's not shooting well. Also, last year Lexie's offense kicked in down the stretch where she scored in double figures in 3 of her last 4 games. At least she's proven she can put some points up. 

One of Lexie's hallmarks in college was her defense and I'm glad to hear even though she may be struggling offensively, her defensive tenacity is translating onto the pro stages.
