Well that was grim...34-7 loss. Thank goodness it was just the second stringers for the 49ers, they looked awful.
One good note...no such thing as a QB controversy. All three backup quarterbacks fell short. Lance had a 111 rating, but threw at least two interceptable passes and he had four sacks. Darnold started out great, ended poorly. Niners rushing couldn't get untracked, passers were a collective 20/31 for 214 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT. The INT went to Brandon Allen, but it went through Bell's hands, as did another pass. And when a 49er fumbled a live ball, Bell didn't notice, because his back was turned. I wouldn't be surprised to see Bell be on the cut list soon. Latu should be cut as well, after a lost fumble.
Trey Lance, IMHO, was slow, immobile, and couldn't run or make cuts. He looked like he was 60 years old.
Moody missed two field goal attempts, a 40 yarder that was close, and a 57 yarder that wasn't within a zip code of the uprights.
