ACC schools won 9 team NCAA championships this past year, the most of any conference. And member teams were a national championship finalist in 5 additional sports, with 26 total final four teams.



And it is crazy deep in many sports like soccer and lax.



It is arguably the best all-around sports conference.

Stanford does not have a men's lax team. But maybe they would add one if joining the ACC. ESPN certainly loves it. And so does the Capital One Cup where men's lax gets triple points, same as football, basketball, baseball and soccer.
