Pete Thamel has reported that SMU, Stanford and Cal are back under consideration by the ACC.  SMU would take a zero payment for the next seven years while Stanford and Cal would take a partial payment. The discussion now centers around how to distribute monies received from ESPN for adding three teams and how to distribute the increased CFP payout once the 12 team playoff begins.  If the current conference members can agree on those issues (not an easy conversation), a vote will be taken.
