I hadn't heard that ND might give up its football-independent status as part of this process (or as an aside) and be a full member of the ACC. Maybe that came out of ND's mediation, or maybe it was already on the table (if any of it's true, to begin with). I've heard conflicting rumors as to which Calford sports would join the ACC -- one suggested it'd be all of them currently existing in the conference and the other that it'd only be FB/BB. 

My first thought: if Haase has had a hard time elevating Stanford's men's BB program in the Pac, just wait till his team's in the ACC and regularly playing teams such as Miami, WF, UNC, NCSt, Duke, and on and on.

According to ESPN, a series of meetings are scheduled in the coming days with discussions centered around how to distribute the extra $70+ million in additional revenue from pro-rata increases in the conference’s media rights deal.

Notre Dame is staying independent.  Including monies they receive from their current deal with the ACC, the next contract they sign (in 2025) with NBC will put them on a par with B10 schools.  Why take a cut to join the ACC?  

Don’t forget - their new AD is the former Chair of NBC Sports.
