I think my favorite part of that column is this: Stanford only has seven seasons of 10+ win seasons in its history. Cal also has seven 10+ win seasons, and so too does UCLA.

ACC teams with 10+win seasons:

Florida State 25 
Clemson 18 
Miami 15 
Virginia Tech 14 
Georgia Tech 9 
Syracuse 7 
North Carolina 7 
Pitt 7 
Louisville 6
Boston College 3
Wake Forest 2 
Duke 1
NC State 1 
Virginia 1 

So only 5 schools in the ACC have more than seven 10 win seasons in their history.

Stanford would be tied with UNC for 7th best ACC all-time win percentage. No, Stanford is not USC, but it's historically better than virtually any other team the ACC can add, and it will be in the upper half of the ACC if it joins.

Clemson site reporting Cal, Stanford, and SMU all likely to join ACC. The vote is just going to be a formality. The deal is as good as done. There is just way too much money at stake for the ACC to not expand with these schools given the financial concessions they are making to get in.

The only real question is how many sports will be joining ACC

"All three new members would join in all sports..." A move to the ACC that doesn't bring along our Olympic sports makes literally zero sense for either the conference or our AD.

Things stopped making sense a long time ago.  Including pacific teams joining the atlantic coast conference

All sports? Men's volleyball? Could be tough, since none of the ACC schools have varsity men's volleyball teams.

Also... Stanford's basketball and baseball teams are going to love the new travel schedule...
