But I think you are agreeing with my main point which is that Ukrainian public support for the war will dictate it's duration, and it remains overwhelmingly in support of continuing the war. The suburbs of the capital were the site of mass civilian murder at the outset of the war, and they have plenty of experience of Russian's reneging on treaties. I think the Ukrainians will keep fighting the Russians with sticks and stones if that's all they have.
