Great analysis above. All I know is Hawaii has no (or few) four stars while we have a healthy dose of four stars on defense as well as at WR, TE and RB. I predict the new coaches will let the players play to their strengths and, for the most part, the players will succeed in doing so. There may be some sloppiness here and there but I expect the game to be well in hand for Stanford by the 3rd quarter, with a 31-17 Stanford victory at the end.

Seems like last few years we've made a specialty out of being outplayed by teams with far less star-rated players than ours. Their lesser star players playing better as a team, with more passion, determination, cohesiveness, better plays, playing more clutch rather than choke, etc.  I'm hoping (without any hard evidence) that this year we turn those tables around and surprise some higher-star-rated PAC opponents with one foot out the conference door.
