As someone living in the eastern time zone, looking forward to fewer football games starting at 10pm. 

And also going to Death Valley and hopefully a Duke/UNC basketball road trip

With SMU in mix we will get to see regular dose of basketball in Dallas.  Not ideal geography but from a selfish perspective , this is very good news .

This is classic example of making chicken salad out of chicken #$&**.   Hats off to Yang and Condi!  I only wish they had been in charge earlier .   

I think this gives .Stanford a seat at the table when next realignment occurs. We’ve gone from SOL to having some control over our own destiny. In the meantime , we will be involved in Power 4 sports.   Good work, folks, and thanks for the leadership. We needed that.
