Indeed.  I loved the spin here:

Stanford will join the ACC as a full member – both in terms of governance and share of media distributions. However, we will be contributing a portion of our media distributions back to the conference for several years.

LOL. How magnanimous of us. We get a full share of media distributions but are so generous as to share 70% of it back to the ACC because no way would the conference have taken us without the bribe.
