Concerned about this one. Dallas has an excellent defense. They will exploit the Niners weakness - which is the right side O-line. Parsons and Lawrence are as good a combo as you will see.
Offensively they can run the ball. You always hope for Prescott to make the big mistake. And he often complies. But he also can be very good.
Niners have been terrific. But the competition to date has been fairly weak. And all the McC talk makes me nervous.
Spread is 3.5. Which is essentially a pick-em game on a neutral field. Cowboys may get an extra point or two cause of their following. But not sure in that.
I see a close, low scoring game.
As noted, the key matchup is Dallas DL v. 49ers OL. This is the test we have been waiting for. Can McKivitz and Burford play at a level (v. a superior opponent) necessary to give Purdy time to make plays?
Also, can SF stop the Dallas run game?
And, of course, Dallas has the intangibles on their side. They have been knocked out of the playoffs by the 49ers that last two years. They desperately want to turn the table this season.
Dallas 20 SF 17.
