Nice to see Jake Moody doing well. I was concerned in the preseason. At present, Moody has kicked 52 consecutive PATs, tied for the longest streak since the PAT became a 33 yard kick in 2015. He's made 18 of 21 FG attempts, and is 8th in the league in scoring with 107 points (McCaffrey is #3 with 120 points, tied with former 49er Raheem Mostert).

Unfortunately the three misses include his only truly “big” attempt.  The 41 yarder vs Cleveland.  He’s going to need to make his next big pressure kick.  Cause that’s job criterion 1 for an NFL kicker.

Yeah, that was disappointing. He's perfect under 40 yards, he has the 2nd most points in the NFL among kickers with 107 (Brandon Aubrey of Dallas is a perfect 31/31 on FGs.).  Moody is ninth in the league overall in FG % at 85.7%. Hopefully he makes the next big kick.

Aubrey is quite a story.  Was a soccer player at ND.  Didn’t play football.  Big leg.  Hasn’t missed a kick.

85.7 is only 9th.  As I said, NFL kickers are unreal. Sometimes I think it would be  be a better game without kicking.  No FGs have to go for 2.

As noted, Moody is 53 for 53 on PATs this season. Since the kick was moved to the 15-yard line in 2015, the record for most made PATs in a season without a miss had been 52 by Stephen Gostkowski for the New England Patriots in 2015.
