I wonder how much power Harbaugh will have with the Chargers...and how much power he'll want.

I'd guess he'll have a lot since he was hired before the new GM so likely will have some influence on who gets hired for that role.

It seems probable Harbaugh wanted lots more control over personnel as a result of his experience with the 49ers. However, the fact JH got hired before the GM may indicate ownership isn't worried about that organizational relationship. Spanos is not considered a "good" owner as I understand it. JH may have his problems sooner rather than later on that front.
