Mercury News seems to think Otto Lopez (SS/2B/CF) and Amir Garrett (LHRP) will take the 25th and 26th spots on the roster, at least until Ray and Cobb are healthy. Lopez will fit right in, he was the worst-fielder and one of the worst hitters on the Buffalo Bison AAA IL team, also poor OPS (.630 in AAA). He did, however, have six hits in 10 ABs with the big league club, and he's very comfortable at 2B. Terrible fielding averages at SS, 3B and CF. Only 1 error in 32 games in the Dominican Winter League, so...there's that.

Amir Garrett is a seldom-used lefty relief pitcher who, I'm fairly sure, can't spell "strike zone." 20 walks in 20 1/3rd innings last year for the Royals. Still, he had a 3.33 ERA, so...
