This is the time of year in which the injury bug tends to catch up on many players. Let’s hope that all players in the forthcoming games, including Talia and Talana, get to finish out the season in spite of their injuries!

That said, she had a dreadful game in their loss to Washington, but I am sure she will be refocused and better on Thursday night. Against Washington she had 1 assist and 2 points on 1/6 shooting. The previous weekend, at home, she had 10 assists against USC and 22 points against UCLA. Her three point shooting is very streaky. She is .327 overall but the last 5 games have been 3/4, 4/7, 1/6, 1/3, 0/3. Last time she played us she was 0/1 from three. In any case, we seem to know how to defend her.
Thanks once again for providing the in-depth analysis. I have one question, though. You made no reference to TVO (aka Talia von Oelhoffen) in your game analysis. After her heroics against UCla, she might be difficult to overlook! Her stat line isn’t that impressive 10 ppg, 5.3 reb, 38.7 fg%, but her 5 ast along with her ability to score 20+ might be a factor in spite of her being held to two points yesterday with limited minutes.
