I think the better chemistry has had a positive effect on all the rest, better contribution from everyone. It's all interconnected, and the chemistry last year explains a lot re the underperformance vs expectations. In her post game interview last night, Cam implicitly commented re this, talking about the joy of playing together this year

Two things that impressed me positively last night.

1. the way Brink and Iriakin worked together as a duo down low. It almost seems as if they've been working on how each of them can either get the ball to the other if a better shot is available or position for the rebound if the other misses. I saw a number of excellent passes in heavy traffic.

2. the set with two guards outside, two bigs down low -- forming a rectangle -- and Demetre flashing to the foul line, receiving the 'entry' pass, turning, and hitting a jump shot. This set worked well and she has a smooth jumper. Good to have that play in the quiver.

IIRC Cam and Kiki worked out together last summer.
