Davis was released this morning after going unclaimed.  SF owes him about $1.15M.  

Now that he is a free agent, I think he will find a new home quickly.

Update: This may not be the end of the Davis saga. It is possible that he could file a grievance for being wrongfully released (the CBA prohibits players from being released after an arbitration hearing unless they fail “to exhibit sufficient skill or competitive ability”).
