Yes, I think that comes into play. Stanford, USC, and UCLA are all in different regionals. Iowa, Ohio St, and Indiana in different regionals, etc. So that factored into us getting LSU as our 2. 

Texas is the only top-10 team that's still playing. If they lose, maybe they would drop below LSU, and LSU might move over to USC's regional. Fingers crossed.

I have found over the years that Charlie Creme's predictions are often wildly inaccurate when it comes to placement, even if they are reasonably accurate when it comes to the level of the seeding.  He also tends to be somewhat pro-Stanford in the sense that we often do not do as well as he predicts or wind up in as favorable a place as he predicts.
