I would be thrilled if this happened. In the last 70 or so years of Stanford basketball only one coach left Stanford after a winning season - Mike Montgomery.
Stanford men's basketball has a long tradition (in my lifetime at least) of mediocre to poor teams and results with one shining era of success in the late 90s/early 2000s. Otherwise this has been a perennial middle-to-lower-half of the conference program. I am hoping for someone, anyone who can inject life and create some interest and excitement around Stanford basketball.
