I'm extremely skeptical that Jay Wright would be more than a 0.01% chance of coming out of retirement from such a successful career to take on the daunting challenge of coaching Stanford MBB into a winning program.
I agree with those that are thinking more likely we get an up-and-comer new Coach.
This ideally should be a win-win for school and new coach.
Where the coach is stepping UP from what they've done before, and we are expecting vigor, enthusiasm, energy, dedication, and hopefully wins in return. 
Of course I can't read Jay Wright's mind, but I would think him looking to leave broadcast analysis after his stellar career at Villanova to now coach Stanford would appear to him to be more of a "meh" than a "win".
