Speaking of Kim Mulkey... This is a very entertaining article by a write who appears to be SFGate's resident curmudgeon. Some of his stuff is truly cringeworthy, but this one gave me some good chuckles.

He says it as it is, as he sees it. Yep, entertaining to read, but there's some reality mixed in here.

BTW, watching the LSU/Rice game right now, and Mulkey is actually wearing a reasonable, totally non-flamboyant outfit. What's with that?  Where are the feathers and sequins, and fluorescent whatevers? Harder to hate her when she looks like a reasonable person. But her facial expressions and sideline behavior do make up for the lack of screaming dress to some extent.
