Moldova and North Macedonia are poor countries with limited or no access to a port, but they are still kicking.  
If you think it's so improbable that Ukraine will survive, then why are you so gung ho about providing $65 billion in aid to Ukraine?
I tend to think that many outcomes are possible, and I would not bet against the will of a people with their collective back to a wall.
