If this is true, it is "interesting". While the new rail line through occupied Ukrainian territory will ultimately allow supplying Russian military units from the north-east, it isn't finished yet and it will definitely be easily within both ATACMS range and F-16 range. Both ammunition and food can and undoubtedly do travel to Crimea by rail, but apparently military hardware has not done so recently. Possibly this means all of Russia's new and replacement resources are being committed almost exclusively to the offensive in the north, leaving the south-east weakened and Crimea more vulnerable. Something to think about.
