Depends. If they are in the thick of it, I wouldn’t deal Doval. Rodriguez still has to prove he can be consistent. He also has to show he can take the wear and tear. If he does, he becomes an 8th inning option.
These days, you can’t have too many good arms in the bullpen.
Agree, Les. Rodriguez has been phenomenal, but if he was always this good, wouldn't he have been here sooner? Great, fun games the last two days especially after the stinker Tues. Pleased to know I can't criticize Chapman right now. Hope it lasts till Sept.
