As for Marco Luciano...he's not ready. MAN, is he not ready. Doesn't run out a grounder, basically jogs into second base. Could have/should have been safe. Fumbles a ninth inning play in the field again. I don't think he'll be sent down, but it wouldn't surprise me. He had a triple, he's hitting .409, which would be best among shortstops...but he's painful to watch in the field and on the basepaths. Four errors in eight games. Yikes.

Not running out a grounder should by itself result in him being sent down. The fact he is hitting right now, and the Giants need all the offense they can get may save him for now (although IMO it shouldn't). However, he won't hit like that forever and when he slows down at the plate hit other less-than-acceptable attributes will send him back to AAA. Sending him down now might get his attention. Doing so later may not.
