Sinking like a rock……

The plan to stay afloat until Cobb, Beck and Ray are available did not account for injuries to Harrison and Winn and the complete disaster known as Blake Snell.  Oh well, at least they discovered that Heliot Ramos is a player and they will be in a position to receive a high draft choice next year. 

Speaking of next season….

I suggest playing Matos every day to find out if he can take over an OF spot next year (or not).  Matos, Lee and Ramos manning the outfield every day would be a good start to building the 2025 lineup.

The #1 need is finding an everyday shortstop.  Perhaps a time warp might bring back a 25 year old Brandon Crawford. Otherwise, it is Luciano or who knows……
