You are incorrect. Katie Ledecky has never swum for the Florida Gators. The school does not list her as an Olympian from the school.
It would be correct to say “Stanford alumna Katie Ledecky takes Bronze in the women’s 400M freestyle.”
Perhaps you haven't heard? Ledecky identifies as a Florida Gator. I'm just respecting her preference.
