How do we feel about Regan Smith's Stanford association? She swam for and attended Stanford for one year, then turned professional. She now trains with the ASU coaches and attends classes at ASU (although she is ineligible as a pro to compete collegiately). Smith is the top qualifier in the 100m backstroke for tomorrow's finals.

If she tries to transfer back to Stanford and they let her, we're all writing very strongly worded letters to somebody. I think. Honestly, I'm confused on all this.

I take the inclusive view of Stanford affiliates so I'm including her in my list (other's lists my vary), and the AD has her on their list (so I agree with the AD for once).  And I doubt she's going to be looking to transfer back, but if she does I will NOT be writing a strongly worded letter to anyone
