Too bad we can't trade some of the ACC's newfound braggadocio over us for some better media rights dollars share.
I understand coaches are critical, but adding coaches and assistant coaches to the list feels wrong.
Let's start with the obvious problem...coaches don't get medals.
Next I presume most of the coaches on this list did not attend that school. (I know insert UNC jokes here)
And finally, especially for the assistant coach group, they could leave their current employer at any time.
It is still nice to have a full list and there is really no doubt that both Stanford and Cal alums will win more medals than USC, UCLA, Oregon and Washington alums combined.
FWIW - Earlier this week USC's athletic site stopped featuring links to their 2024 medal count. The page is still active, but you have to do quite a bit to find it now. LOL!
