Four days ago, I saw a pro-Ukraine account post a video of Russian 56th Guards vehicles being trucked toward Kursk. Other accounts indicated that the lack of rail transport would lead to severe maintenance and readiness issues and given the doctrinal reliance on rail transport for such long-distance movements. Some more reading shows that there have been a number of units redeploying from southern Ukraine to Kursk, but the scale of the movement isn't known yet. Analysts surmise that units from less critical areas of the southern front have been redeployed while maintaining commitment to the eastern invasion.
