2B Luciano (I still believe he is going to be a star)
SS Fitzgerald (he is no Brandon Crawford on D but he is a capable defender with a good bat)
3B Chapman (the most important signing this offseason)
LF Ramos (Bonds streak ends in 2026)
CF Lee (shoulder injuries can be problematic; fingers are crossed he can return to full health)
RF Matos (see Luciano)
C Bailey (the best defensive catcher in the league; he has to figure out a way to not wear down)
DH to be determined (a RH who can also play 1B)

Quite frankly, I think one or more of the RP will be replaced by trade acquisitions. I only put the names in as placeholders. The same applies to a lesser degree to the position players. IMO, a DH is a must addition. Hopefully, they can find someone who isn’t a total bust (like Solar). Also, I believe that we may see Eldridge up by the end of the season. However, I think it is more likely he will arrive in 2026.
As for going after Soto - a big no. They need to get back under the tax limit to set up future expenditures without concern for the multiple year tax penalty.
