Giants are on a nice little win streak, having won six of seven against strong teams (Royals, Diamondbacks and Orioles). They're 78-79. If they go 3-1 in their last four games, they'll have finished by winning nine of 11 and they will have equaled last year's Padres record of 82-80 (only the second time in six years that Farhan's Giants would have a +.500 record). Last year's Padres won 14 of their last 17 games to finish 82-80. What is it with BoMel and these incredible finishes?

BTW, some folks think Farhan should keep his job...

San Francisco Giants ‘Might Save’ Farhan Zaidi’s Job

I agree that Zaidi will be given a last chance to save his job.  Quite frankly, I think it is just kicking the can down the road.  Why should anyone have any confidence that he can get things moving in the right direction?  To date, he has done nothing to earn that trust. 

Heck, if SF wins out, they will have a three year record of 243-243.  IMO, that tells us everything we need to know about the Zaidi regime.  Mediocrity, thy name is Farhan.

I think Farhan will be fired within three days.
