I foolishly posted last week that Stanford had a chance to upset Notre Dame.
Not going to say anything like that this week, but I will point to SMU being one of the most penalized teams in the country. They average 75.67 yards in penalties per game, ranking No. 124 out of 133 FBS teams. Not saying they're going to self-destruct, but I'd say it's a possibility.
Stanford ranks No. 11 nationally with only 36 penalty yards per game.
