What do you get for making a wrong prediction?

I get the comforting feeling of pride that I stood by my alma mater and never lost hope despite the long odds against victory.  It softens the blow of witnessing a loss on the gridiron by our brave Cardinal football warriors.  I get to scroll down George's list, and scroll, and scroll, to the bottom to see that name "martyup" sitting there like a beacon to my undying faith in all teams Cardinal.

In religion, faith is a matter of belief WITHOUT evidence. Your repeated prediction of Cardinal football wins since week 3 is a matter of performative “belief” AGAINST all available evidence for the sake of “supporting” your alma mater. But a higher form of supporting one’s alma mater is, arguably, being candid and accurate about its strengths and weaknesses. One is reminded of those GOP legislator/acolytes who consistently “support” DJT week after week regardless of how poorly he does “on the playing field” instead of calling out his outrageous deeds candidly and accurately.
